The word around the Neanderthal campfire is that The Royal Mint are bringing out a series of dinosaur fifty pences in the new year. Okay, so once again these are something purposely designed to appeal to kids (‘Mummy, pleeeeease can you spend £40 on four fifty pences for me?’)…… but at least they have the potential to be half decent.
People are getting kind of bored of badly drawn bears and a seemingly endless barrage of bunnies. So…… the new Jurassic slant on things could at least prove to be a more enjoyable experience.
Of course, the next questions are going to be –
Q1 - How many are they going to release?
Q2 - Will they be going out into general circulation?
A1 - Dunno. Nowt said as yet.
A2 - HAHAHAAH. Don’t hold your breath…….
